I don't like this one as much as all your other artwork, but the shading is superb!!

This is chiaroscuro defined Kate! It's gorgeous! I'm really glad that you branched out to show us all kinds of fine art work that you do! It shows your diversity as an artist.

Kate,
Your drawing is wonderful! Seeing the figure and looking at all the still life drawings, I'm thinking I'd like to see you do more drawings of humans, especially faces. I'd love to see what you would do with them. Great work!

I don't know how anyone could not like your artwork no matter how diverse you may choose to get or try or show us. I love it! It is delicate and soft. Great to see all the work that you do! Thanks for sharing!

Kate,
Beautifully done almost sculpted, really a superior study of light and form. The anatomy very skillfully done. The concentrated lighting really gives this drawing its drama.

fabulous, Ms. Kate! I agree about the chiarascuro effect. Wonderful! The play of light and shadow is what this is all about as well as the subtle way you chose to show the figure.
Bravo ;)
