All of your drawings have such a delicate touch, even your shadows and highlights. Ok, I know I keep saying it but I really admire your skill in all facets of creativity that I've seen so far. Is there anything you CAN'T do?

You are really inspiring me with these beautiful, thoughtful pieces. I've never tried a moleskine before, but now I'd love to see what they're like!

I love the variety of approaches you are posting. If you are willing, would you mind also sharing what you're using to draw each piece with? (i.e. 2B mechanical pencil, 4B graphite stick, etc...?) It's nice to see what kinds of marks people make with specific materials.

Thanx TLC! Good suggestion. I believe that fr this drawng I used 3 pencils - 2H, 2B, and 8B (a strange watercolor graphite pencil that I use dry and pretty much acts like a 4B). I will try to remember to post this info from now on.

Kate, You've branched off yet again. I like the double light source and surface reflection of the onion. Most times artists avoid double light sources that are of equal strength but I like your rebeliousness. Yoy're a rebel!

this is so fantastically beautiful! If onions were actually black and white, I'd think I was looking at an actual onion on the screen :) Thanks for starting this new blog and sharing with us!
