The 2nd Annual smART show at the Flat Iron Art Building in Chicago was a great success this past weekend. This was my very first time showing my fine art, and I ended up selling 5 drawings. I had a great time and met so many wonderful artists, all with unique styles all their own. I hope to participate in the Holiday smART show show this year. I will post a few photos from this weekend's event when I empty my camera.
I was so inspired to keep drawing, I came home last night and drew river rocks.

I REALLY like this one. (heh, yes, I'm back!)
Kathleen!
Oh my goodness!
I'm feeling a bit embarrassed now. Living my whole life in Chicago I didn't even realize this art show took place until reading your latest post!
Maybe the next time around I'll check it out!
Glad it was a success!

very soothing... I want to reach out, pick one off the page, and rub it. Your sketches are just lovely, thanks for sharing and glad to read your show went so well. =)
This is the ultimate test! You really have to have talent to draw rocks successfully. Congratulations.
I've always really liked the drawing...
thanks Eric!
