wow Kate, you're doing some amazing studies! The fabric folds and the shadowing are perfect. The squash is so real it's making my mouth water :) I like mine with wild rice and a little maple syrup and butter. Just a smidge though! Wonderful Moleskinerie.
Oh my god!!I juz fall in love with your blog Kate!! what an amazing lovely works you have! they are really awesome! I love every single things with their own special colours. Great! =)
These are gorgeous! I always intend to use my Moleskin more artistically, but it ends up with lists and doodles more often than not. I'm inspired by yours to try to do better!
Thanks TLC, give it a try! Black Prismacolor adds subtle areas of depth when you cannot achieve that kind of "dark" with a graphite pencil. It just pushes the depth of shading even more, which adds richness to the drawing.

I haven't ever tried combining prismacolor pencils with graphite... Interesting thought (the effect works great here). Very nice.
Oooooooh, gorgeous! You are a shading master. Those folds take a lot of patience and skill.

Your drawings are beautiful! You have a new fan. Great watercolors too...
Kate!
The best part of this one is how you made the folds and creases of the cloth keep the backdrop interesting.
Another wonderfully rendered work of art!
