red leaf

I forgot how poorly reds scan. Maybe I will try photographing the painting instead. The original painting has a much broader range of pretty reds.

I am loving your leaf series Kate. Makes me wish I got to see the leaves fall and experience the richness of colors. BUT, I guess I do get to see them ... through your gorgeous paintings! Thanks for sharing! :)

Oh, Kate! Your leaves are autumn heaven! Your watercolor work is truly lovely, and the reds in this one came out rich and beautiful. I can only imagine how incredible it must be in real life.
